There are many ways to volunteer with Santa Fe Habitat for Humanity, and we’re here to help you find what best fits your availability, your skills, and your interests.
Construction volunteers build Tuesdays through Saturdays, March-October 8:30am–3:30pm and November-February 9:30am-4:30pm. All volunteers must be age 16 or older. No experience necessary—all training and tools are provided onsite. Individuals are welcome and may sign up online through our Volunteer Calendar. If you are interested in signing up a group of people, please contact Teresa Geisler, Director of Volunteers and Family Services, at (505) 986-5880 ext. 102.
ReStore and Tool Library volunteers work half- or full-day shifts, Mondays through Saturdays. No experience needed. For more information about volunteering at the ReStore, visit the ReStore Volunteering Page.
Work in our affiliate office answering phones, greeting visitors, entering data, and helping with mailings. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Excel, and other common computer programs is recommended. For more information, contact our Director of Volunteers, Sophia Barnett.
Volunteers serve on our Board of Directors and our Committees, including Family Selection, Family Support, Finance, and Development. If you have special skills or experience that you’d like to offer our Board or one of our committees, please contact our Director of Volunteers, Sophia Barnett.
